High-yielding and very good baking quality.
Hard red spring wheat with very good test weight and high protein. Lang-MN wheat has good all-around disease resistance, including scab, stripe, and stem rust resistance. Mid-to-late maturity. New variety bred by the University of Minnesota. Sow as early as possible in spring (delay reduces yield), about 4 lb./1,000 sq.ft. (120-140 lb./acre), less in drier climates. Harvest August–September. Blue label/Certified seed. USDA Certified Organic.
